Recap: Westview Chargers vs. Keenan Raiders
The Westview Chargers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They strolled past Keenan with points to spare, taking the game 56-42.
Mccall Sims was her usual excellent self, scoring 28 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Westview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Alexander, who scored 11 points.
Westview's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Keenan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Westview won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against King's Fork at 2:45 p.m. on December 21st. King's Fork comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Keenan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eau Claire at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
