Basketball Recap: Royal Comes Up Short

Royal saw some tournament action on Friday. The game between the Falcons and the Lampasas Badgers didn't end well, with the Falcons falling 59-43.

Royal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lampasas, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Royal won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Industrial at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lampasas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thorndale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
