Canyon took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Sunny Hills. Considering the Comanches' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy entered their tilt with Vasquez on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Mustangs 6-1. It was an even better day for Diego Mathias Cabrera as he scored four goals for his team.

The Palmdale Aerospace Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five matches. As for Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-2.
