Baseball Recap: Seminole Find Success

Seminole proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Shorecrest Prep Chargers 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warhawks have posted since February 20th.

Alex Yingling looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on JJ Baysinger, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Blake Schneider also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Seminole's record is now 10-3. As for Shorecrest Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole will host Calvary Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shorecrest Prep will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clearwater Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th.
