Softball Game Preview: Byron Tigers vs. Genoa-Kingston Cogs

Byron is 1-9 against Genoa-Kingston since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Cogs at 4:30 p.m. Byron has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Byron is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They came up short against Durand, falling 13-2.

Meanwhile, Genoa-Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-3 to Oregon. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
