West Florence waltzed into their game on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Westwood Redhawks get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-1 on Tuesday.

Not much got past Matthew Brown, who gave up just four hits to keep Westwood off the board. Brown has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryan Coscetti, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

West Florence pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Westwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.
