Basketball Game Preview: East Davidson Golden Eagles vs. North Rowan Cavaliers

East Davidson hasn't had much luck against North Rowan recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The East Davidson Golden Eagles will look to defend their home court against the North Rowan Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. East Davidson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season.

Last Wednesday, East Davidson came up short against Thomasville and fell 63-52. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Davidson's loss came about despite a quality game from Tegin Hedrick, who posted 26 points. Hedrick's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landin Newton, who scored ten points.

Meanwhile, North Rowan strolled past Mount Pleasant with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 79-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cavaliers.

North Rowan is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.8 points per game. As for East Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.
