Thomas County Central came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Colquitt County Packers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

The win didn't come easy: Colquitt County scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Jaden Crews paced Thomas County Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Crews got some help from Kate Henson and her 23 assists. Crews was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Thomas County Central's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Colquitt County, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thomas County Central will venture away from home to face off against Sherwood Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Colquitt County, they will take on Camden County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
