Richmond has gone 9-1 against Pinecrest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Richmond will be playing in front of their home fans against Pinecrest at 6:00 p.m. Richmond is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Richmond barely beat Southern Lee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Richmond never let Southern Lee get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Raiders needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Madee Pearson looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in earned runs (zero).

At the plate, Jakayla Steele was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hayden Robinson, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Richmond always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. They are 4-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Pinecrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Randleman, falling 12-1.
Pinecrest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Nowakowski, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Richmond's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Pinecrest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
Pinecrest's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Richmond has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .450. It's a different story for Pinecrest, though, as they've only averaged .343. Will they be able to contain Richmond's hitters?
