Soccer Recap: Walnut Grove Christian's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Walnut Grove Christian was not quite HOPE Academy's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Walnut Grove Christian of the 8-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Josh Jones wasn't going to let HOPE Academy walk away unscathed as he scored both of Walnut Grove Christian's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.
