Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fieldcrest). They claimed a resounding 72-41 victory over the LeRoy Panthers. The win was all the more spectacular given the Knights' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Panthers are ranked 186th).

Fieldcrest's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for LeRoy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fieldcrest will venture away from home to challenge Tri-Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for LeRoy, they will take on Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Athens will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something LeRoy surely won't give up without a fight.
