Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends St. Joseph's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but St. Joseph unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Tabiona Tigers by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jayhawks of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

St. Joseph wouldn't go down easily and took Tabiona into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-15, 25-16, 17-25, 15-10.

St. Joseph's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Tabiona, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Joseph beat the Tigers by a score of 3-1 later that day.
