Baseball Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Carson lost against McQueen back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Senators came up short against the Lancers, falling 13-6. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tyler LaFollette made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Carson: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-17 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Cook, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for McQueen, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-14-1 record.

Carson has already played their next matchup (against Damonte Ranch), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for McQueen, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-5 victory against Douglas on the 28th.
