Soccer Game Preview: Hornell vs. Early College

The Hornell Red Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Early College Sharks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Early College took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hornell, who comes in off a win.

Early College will be up against a hot Hornell team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Red Raiders came out on top against Wayland-Cohocton by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Hornell's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Wayland-Cohocton are ranked 144th).

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Early College's offense. They lost 4-0 to Brockport on Monday. Early College haven't had much luck with Brockport recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Hornell's victory bumped their record up to 12-0-2. As for Early College, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
