Innovation Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Jayden Ogbeide and Derrick Twum. Ogbeide dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds, while Twum scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. That was a full 36.8% of Innovation Academy's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Ayden Rogers was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Academy of Notre Dame is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Innovation Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.
