After only eight points in their last matchup, Hagerman made sure to put some points up on the board against Challis on Friday. The Pirates breezed past the Vikings to the tune of 64-6. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 64-6.

Hagerman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Casen Knight out in front who rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 58 receiving yards and one score. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Knight a new career-high. Another signal caller making a difference was Wyatt Mavencamp, who threw for 306 yards and six TDs on only 17 passes.

Hagerman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Arlo Acuna and Zander Cenarussa.

The win got Hagerman back to even at 1-1. As for Challis, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Coming up, Hagerman is taking a road trip to square off against Kendrick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Challis, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Richfield at 7:00 p.m.
