            Basketball Recap: Harrison Hoyas vs. Hillgrove Hawks        
        
		
        
        
            Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They lost  47-23 to the Hillgrove Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Hoyas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 85th, while the Hawks are ranked 34th).
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hillgrove to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Aeris Macon, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and ten  rebounds. Macon has been hot recently, having also posted two or more  blocks the last four times she's  played.  Yolanda Floyd was another key player,  putting up 12  points and five  boards.
Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Hillgrove, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 16 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record  this season.
 Harrison has  already played their next  match (against Osborne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hillgrove will square off against Paulding County at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Paulding County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.2  points per game  this season.
