Basketball Game Preview: Everett Warriors vs. Forbes Road

The Everett Warriors will square off against Forbes Road at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Wednesday, Everett beat Northern Bedford County 60-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Forbes Road had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hornets 64-33. Forbes Road has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 28 points or more this season.

Forbes Road's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for Everett, they have also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.
