Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hartshorne). They claimed a resounding 66-8 win over the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats. Considering the Miners have won three matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hartshorne's defense and their six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Malachi Sunagoowie and Brandon Pajaro, who racked up five sacks between them. Pajaro has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last six times he's played.
Hartshorne now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
