Basketball Recap: Bayside Academy Comes Up Short

Bayside Academy suffered their biggest defeat since December 10, 2024 on Wednesday. They were dealt a 55-24 loss at the hands of the Gulf Shores Dolphins. While losing is never fun, the Admirals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Dolphins are ranked 98th).

Bayside Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Gulf Shores, they pushed their record up to 16-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Bayside Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gulf Shores, they will take on Spanish Fort at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
