Albemarle entered their tilt with South Stanly on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Rowdy Rebel Bulls by a score of 60-48. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-48 back in January.

Albemarle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ellington Wall led the charge by putting up 18 points. Tyvunn Quick was another key player, scoring 13 points.

Albemarle's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for South Stanly, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Albemarle is set to challenge their familiar foe North Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, South Stanly will square off against rival North Stanly at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
