Recap: St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings vs. Central Falcons
The St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 27 points or more this season. They blew past Central, posting a 63-11 victory at home. The victory was just what St. John's Catholic Prep needed coming off of a 77-46 loss in their prior matchup.
St. John's Catholic Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isabella Wilson out in front who scored 16 points. Cayenne Pigeon was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
St. John's Catholic Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
St. John's Catholic Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Coppin Academy at 11:00 a.m. on December 30th. As for Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Gwynn Park at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Gwynn Park will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
