Softball Recap: Northeast Dubois Comes Up Short

Northeast Dubois came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Linton-Stockton Miners, falling 9-2. The Jeeps were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Miners apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Northeast Dubois' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Linton-Stockton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Northeast Dubois will head out to face off against South Knox at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Linton-Stockton, they will face off against Loogootee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Miners are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
