Soccer Recap: River View Finishes Even with Smithville

River View hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They and the Smithville Smithies finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Cash Guilliams hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

River View's goal came courtesy of Parker Andrews, who's now up to seven this season.

River View's draw makes their record 1-0-4 this season. Meanwhile, Smithville's record is now 2-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River View will venture away from home to face off against Coshocton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Smithville, they will head out to challenge Chippewa at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Chippewa will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Smithville surely won't give up without a fight.
