Mundelein is 8-2 against Zion-Benton since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Mundelein Mustangs will look to defend their home court against the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees at 7:00 p.m. Zion-Benton took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mundelein, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Mundelein earned a 63-54 win over Wauconda. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 640th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Zion-Benton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against Lake Forest, falling 64-37.

Mundelein now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Zion-Benton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Mundelein was able to grind out a solid victory over Zion-Benton in their previous meeting back in January, winning 62-54. Will Mundelein repeat their success, or does Zion-Benton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
