Softball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Atchison

Atchison is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Bishop Ward on Thursday, but Bishop Ward came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Phoenix came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Cyclones. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 on Thursday.

Atchison's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Bishop Ward, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
