Stonewall had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Union City Tigers by a score of 6-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 on Thursday.

Stonewall's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-11. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Union City, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-8.

Stonewall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Union City, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-1 victory against Webbers Falls on the 3rd.
