Klein Cain won against Tomball on Tuesday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Hurricanes had just enough and edged out the Cougars 2-1. The Hurricanes are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Braden Cox made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Cox wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Blaine Bullard, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Klein Cain pushed their record up to 14-6-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Tomball, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-6-1.

Coming up, Klein Cain will head out to square off against Magnolia West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tomball, they will be playing at home against Klein Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
