Soccer Game Preview: North Surry vs. West Stokes

North Surry hasn't had much luck against West Stokes recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Greyhounds will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

North Surry's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against West Wilkes as they made off with a 9-0 win. It was an even better day for Raelynn Easter as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, West Stokes got the win against Parkland on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

North Surry's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-3-1. As for West Stokes, they now have a winning record of 4-3-2.

North Surry beat West Stokes 2-0 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will the Greyhounds repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
