Baseball Recap: North Vermilion Victorious

North Vermilion and Hanson Memorial pushed the score to 14-5 the last time they played Hanson Memorial, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Patriots' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 3-0 shutout. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory got North Vermilion back to even at 15-15. As for Hanson Memorial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12-1 record this season.

North Vermilion will face off against Eunice at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hanson Memorial, they will venture away from home to take on Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
