Lemont is 8-2 against Bremen since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Lemont Lemont HS are taking a road trip to challenge the Bremen Braves at 6:30 p.m. Lemont will be strutting in after a victory while Bremen will be coming in after a defeat.

Lemont is headed into the game having just posted their biggest win since January 7th on Tuesday. They blew past Oak Forest 60-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lemont HS.

Meanwhile, Bremen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Hillcrest 62-18. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 648th, while the Hawks are ranked 250th).

Lemont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Bremen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-19.

Lemont was able to grind out a solid victory over Bremen in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 43-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lemont since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
