Basketball Recap: Touchet Takes a Loss

Touchet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Riverside Christian Crusaders 79-20. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-9 back in December of 2024.

Haydn Edwards went supernova for Riverside Christian, going 10 of 17 en route to 23 points. Another player making a difference was Micah Morgan, who went 7 for 17 on his way to 17 points.

Touchet's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Riverside Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Touchet will welcome St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Prescott at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
