It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Milan had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They strolled past the Crothersville Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 45-26. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Crothersville had strong showings from Bella Riley, who posted nine points and four steals, and Rayleigh Lewis, who put up three points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Lewis a new career-high in steals.

With the win, Milan broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-17. As for Crothersville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Milan will challenge Oldenburg Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oldenburg Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Milan surely won't give up without a fight. Crothersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
