Marmion had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 72-50 margin over the Freeport Pretzels. The Cadets pushed the score to 68-34 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pretzels cut but never quite recovered from.

Marmion's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Freeport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-20.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marmion will face off against Brother Rice at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freeport, they will host Harlem at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
