Gowanda has gone 9-1 against Pine Valley Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Gowanda will look to defend their home field against Pine Valley Central at 5:00 p.m. Gowanda is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Gowanda didn't have quite enough to beat Silver Creek and fell 4-3.

Gowanda saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Holland Browning, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Pine Valley Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against Forestville Central, falling 14-2. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Pine Valley Central and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Gowanda, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Gowanda took their win against Pine Valley Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 21-4 score. Will Gowanda repeat their success, or does Pine Valley Central has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
