After losing to Hastings the last time they met, Westlake decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Westlake Wildcats were the clear victor by a 47-27 margin over the Hastings Yellow Jackets on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Westlake Wildcats take on the Tuckahoe Tigers on Thursday. As for Hastings, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Haldane at 6:15 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
