The final result isn't all that surprising considering Elmira's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 38th, while Horseheads are ranked 201st).

Coming up, Elmira will be playing at home against Notre Dame at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Horseheads, they will venture away from home to face off against Johnson City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Horseheads will be up against Johnson City's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.5 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
