Winfield faced Parkersburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Generals fell just short of the Big Reds by a score of 3-2. Winfield were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Parkersburg apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
