Volleyball Recap: Troy Christian's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Troy Christian lost against Minster back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-23, 25-16.

Jenna Borton paced Troy Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Borton got some help from Taylor Bechtol and her 29 assists. Nora Inman controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Troy Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Minster, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Troy Christian will take on Covington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Minster, they will venture away from home to take on Ottawa-Glandorf at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
