The Milan Bulldogs will square off against the Jackson North Side Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Jackson North Side will be up against a hot Milan team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Milan put the hurt on Haywood with a sharp 14-1 win on Friday. Fans of the Bulldogs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Camryn Green made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Green was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Hailey Williamson was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. Bailey Doles was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Jackson North Side had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past Fayette Ware 10-1 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Indians needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Like Milan, Jackson North Side also got a great game from a two-way player: Journey Wilbourn. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Wilbourn was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Corihanna Jurnett and Deja Hill did most of the damage at the plate: Jurnett scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Hill scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Niyah Hill, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.
Jackson North Side always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .900. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fayette Ware only posted an OBP of .308.
Milan's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Jackson North Side, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
