Basketball Recap: Frederick Comes Up Short

Frederick came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Merritt Oilers 67-27. While losing is never fun, the Bombers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Oilers are ranked 16th).

Frederick's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Merritt, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-3.

As of now, neither Frederick nor Merritt have any future games scheduled.
