The Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Veritas Prep on the road to the tune of 73-45. The win was nothing new for Rancho Solano Prep as they're now sitting on six straight.
Rancho Solano Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sagith Vargas out in front who scored 18 points along with six assists and four steals. Vargas hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. Jake Miller was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Rancho Solano Prep pushed their record up to 21-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Veritas Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.
Rancho Solano Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hopi at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hopi's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 18 contests. As for Veritas Prep, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-26 win vs. Benson on the 9th.
