Volleyball Recap: Millard North Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Millard North had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lincoln East Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Millard North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-18.

Marley Tracy was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 digs. Those 12 digs gave her a new career-high.

Millard North is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-15 record this season. As for Lincoln East, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-23.

Millard North has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Marian on the 29th. Lincoln East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
