Softball Recap: Ashe County Huskies vs. Hibriten Panthers

Ashe County dropped their record down to 13-11 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Hibriten Panthers by a score of 9-8. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 14-2.

Ally Greer stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Nadilyn Eason, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
