The Terre Haute South Vigo Braves will venture away from home to take on the Vincennes Lincoln Alices at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Terre Haute South Vigo is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.
Terre Haute South Vigo had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt South Vermillion on Monday. The Braves never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory.
Ben Sellers looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Vincennes Lincoln never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against South Knox on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 13-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Alices in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won nine in a row.
The team relied heavily on Luke Hall, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Anderson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Terre Haute South Vigo pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Vincennes Lincoln, their record is now 15-7.
Terre Haute South Vigo couldn't quite finish off Vincennes Lincoln in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 10-8. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
