Soccer Recap: Perry Meridian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Decatur Central last Wednesday, Perry Meridian came back down to earth. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mooresville Pioneers on Monday. The loss continues a trend for Perry Meridian in their meetings with Mooresville: they've now lost six in a row.

Perry Meridian's goal came courtesy of Elaine Means, who's now up to five this season.

Perry Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mooresville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Perry Meridian is taking a road trip to square off against Southport at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mooresville, they will welcome Terre Haute South Vigo at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
