On Friday, Cary Academy got the W thanks in part to Gabrielle Young playing the best basketball she has all season. Young almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine boards, good enough to set a new career-high in rebounds in the process.

Young and Cary Academy will challenge South Wake at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
