Tyler HEAT had already won 21 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.2 points) and they went ahead and made it 22 on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 83-65 victory over Dallas Thunder. Given Tyler HEAT's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while Dallas Thunder is ranked 639th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tyler HEAT got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Coen Starr out in front who went 7-for-12 to rack up 18 points and seven boards. Starr continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Eli Anderson, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 11 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds.

Tyler HEAT pushed their record up to 38-2 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Dallas Thunder, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
