Volleyball Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Takes a Loss

Illinois Math & Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Forest Bengals. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bengals when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Illinois Math & Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oak Forest, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Illinois Math & Science Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Round Lake on the 29th. As for Oak Forest, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. Charles North on the 29th.
