Sedan snaps four-game streak of losses on the road

Recap: Sedan Devils vs. Argonia Red Raiders

The Sedan Devils won the last time they faced the Argonia Red Raiders, and things went their way on Friday too. Sedan came out on top against Argonia by a score of 64-54. Sedan pushed the score to 57-29 by the end of the third, a deficit Argonia cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, Argonia still got an impressive performance from Dalton Morrison, who scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morrison has scored all season. Filippo Leonardi was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven assists.

Even though they lost, Argonia were working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Sedan's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-4. As for Argonia, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sedan will take on West Elk at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (West Elk is ranked 204th, while Sedan is ranked 197th). As for Argonia, they will be playing at home against Central at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Central will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
